Creating for over a decade.

I have been creating art for over a decade. One of the earliest memories I remember where my interest in art started was in an after school activity called Art Barn. It was my favorite activity that I always looked forward to every Friday. Our teacher, Farmer Sue, brought in one of her farm animals every class and we would draw that animal and learn about them. I remember being very inspired by the other students around me and how someday I wanted to be as good as them.

As someone with dyslexia and other learning disabilities I always struggled with school but art was always there for me. In high school during my height of struggling social I found peace and solace in my schools art studio. I became very close with my art teacher, Robin, who inspired me to end up going down the educational route in college. Now I have my BA in Studio Art and a minor in Education from Colorado College. I am looking forward to my journey in becoming a high school art teacher.

As of now, I currently work as a front desk administrator with a music and dance academy in Seattle, Washington. Outside of the academy I am working on creating more work and products for my shop that I have been dreaming to get out. Along with the work for my shop I am continuously enjoying working on oil paintings and graphite drawings.
